Who Am I?
My name is Reece Kailey, and I am from Conway, Arkansas. I am currently a sophomore at Ouachita Baptist University. I am pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a second major of Communications. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2028.
When I have free time I enjoy spending it outside, whether that may be fly fishing on the Little Red River, drawing in a hammock at Lake DeGray, or playing disc golf across various courses. I also enjoy playing the Pokemon Trading Card Game and listening to indie rock music, both of which have a large impact on my work as an artist. I love to document my process of creating things and I am interested in pursuing content creation on social media platforms, mainly YouTube.
What is real kind.?
real kind. has a couple of meanings. First off, real kind. is a stand against AI. I want to show people how valuable artists are and what we can do! Help me in supporting the real kind of art!
Secondly, it is a way to show kindness to all people! My art is something that I feel I can express my joy through, and I aim to convey the feeling of joy and fun through my work. I am drawn to the things in life outside of art that make me happy for inspiration and commonly express this through my work. I draw a lot of inspiration from nature and music, as those are things that make me feel creative and keep me going throughout the day.
Overall my goal is to tell others, but also myself, to remember to let go and enjoy the things we've been blessed with, whether large or small.
